Well it has been a while since I last posted a blog! My time flies! I've been encouraged by the sale of a few of my items through Etsy.com, so I've cranked up production lately. I've made a new collection of cigar box purses (to check them out go to http://www.etsy.com/shop/handartdesignstudios) and then decided to create some statement (sometimes called bib) necklaces to go with each of the purses I created. I've had a lot of fun making these pieces of jewelry, and I'm really happy with them, but now it is a matter of seeing whether others like them too and are willing to buy them!
I had thought of doing a local flea market, but then decided against it, since there were not enough craft items there. Then found out about this Indie Bazaar in San Francisco, and went for it. I put in my application as soon as I saw it. I had a good feeling it was the right place to show case my stuff.
Well, the show is this Saturday! So, I'm just days away! Check it out. . .http://www.indiebazaar.net/. Getting excited about the prospect of actually making some sales, or at the very least seeing what are people's reactions to the various items I have made. You never know what people will gravitate towards.
So wish me luck. 'll post again with pictures after the show, and let you know how it all went!
